Minor Lines

Beyond the major lines, the palm may show smaller lines that add detail to a reading. These are known as minor lines. Not every hand has all of them — and that's normal.

Minor lines don't define the reading — they refine it. Think of them as supporting signals, not primary ones.

The Sun Line (Apollo Line)

Often runs vertically toward the ring finger. Associated with expression, creativity, and satisfaction in what one does. A clear sun line may suggest strong sense of expression and fulfillment through creative or visible work.

The Health Line (Mercury Line)

Usually runs diagonally or vertically toward the little finger. Associated with sensitivity, balance, and overall system stability. A strong health line does not automatically indicate "better health."

The Marriage Lines

Located on the outer edge of the palm, below the little finger. These short horizontal lines are associated with connection patterns and close relationships. They do not predict number of marriages or exact relationship outcomes.

The Travel Lines

Found near the lower outer palm (Mount of Moon area). Associated with movement, changes in environment, and shifts in surroundings.

A Common Mistake

Many beginners focus too much on minor lines and ignore the major lines and structure. Minor lines should always be read in context — they gain meaning when connected to major features.
