The Head Line

The Head Line
The head line reflects how a person thinks. It runs across the middle of the palm, usually starting near the life line and extending horizontally.
While the life line relates to energy, the head line relates to mental patterns. It doesn't measure intelligence โ it shows how thinking happens, not how "smart" someone is.
Straight vs Curved Head Line
A straight head line suggests practical thinking, a logical approach, and focus on structure and clarity. A curved head line suggests imaginative thinking, an intuitive approach, and openness to ideas. Neither is better โ they reflect different styles.
Long vs Short Head Line
A longer head line may suggest sustained concentration and depth of thought. A shorter head line may suggest quicker decision-making and more direct thinking. This is about style, not ability.
Head Line Joined to the Life Line
In some hands, the head line begins attached to the life line. This may suggest cautious decision-making and a careful approach early in life. If the head line starts separate, it may suggest independence and quicker willingness to take action.
Breaks and Forks
Breaks can indicate shifts in thinking patterns โ changes in perspective, new approaches to problem-solving, or periods of transition. Some head lines split or branch, which can suggest multiple ways of thinking and adaptability in decision-making.
How the Head Line Works With Other Features
A strong head line combined with a strong heart line suggests balance between thinking and emotion. The head line plus the Mount of Mercury combines thinking with communication. Patterns always work together.
