Part 3 โ€” The Major LinesยทChapter 7

The Heart Line

Palm diagram showing heart line variations including straight, curved, and different ending points.

The Heart Line

The heart line reflects how a person relates emotionally. It usually runs across the upper part of the palm, just below the fingers.

While the head line relates to thinking, the heart line relates to feeling and connection. It does not define love in a fixed way โ€” it shows how emotions are experienced and expressed.

Straight vs Curved Heart Line

A straight heart line suggests more controlled emotional expression, preference for stability, and measured responses. A curved heart line suggests expressive emotions, openness in relationships, and warmth. Neither is better โ€” they describe different ways of relating.

Ending Points of the Heart Line

Where the heart line ends adds important context. Ending under the index finger suggests an idealistic approach to relationships with higher expectations. Ending under the middle finger suggests a balanced or practical emotional outlook.

Breaks in the Heart Line

Breaks may reflect changes in emotional patterns, shifts in relationships, or periods of reevaluation. Like other lines, breaks are not inherently negative โ€” they indicate transition.

Chains, Islands, and Irregularities

Some heart lines appear chained or uneven. This can suggest emotional complexity and sensitivity to external influences. This is about patterns โ€” not judgments.

How the Heart Line Works With Other Features

A strong heart line combined with a curved head line suggests emotional and intuitive balance. The heart line plus Mount of Venus combines emotional expression with intensity. Meaning comes from interaction.
